Fragments of Home
Across decades of living abroad, the memory of Iraq and the Middle East remained embedded in my work, surfacing in textures, forms, and layered fragments. In this body of work, I reflect on what it means to carry one’s home across distance — how memories linger like echoes in the background of new realities. Each piece is a quiet attempt to make sense of belonging, longing, and the complexity of identity shaped by distance.
