Palm Trees & Roots of Resilience
On returning to Iraq after many years away, it was the palm trees that stayed with me — slender, willowy, yet standing tall amid devastation. Beneath the veils and shadows, there is unwavering movement, a reminder that life continues even in the face of unspeakable hardship.
