Returning to life drawing has always grounded me — a practice that reconnects me with form, gesture, and the human body. No matter how abstracted my paintings may become, I remain anchored in the discipline and knowledge of realist drawing and classical technique. These works on paper, often created in one or two sittings, capture the immediacy and spontaneity of working directly from a model, balancing instinct with structure and leaving space for fluidity and human presence.
